Zuhause auf der Strecke 2004 Zuhause auf der Strecke 2004 User Reviews

The few laughs that there are, mainly come from Cuba Gooding Jr. as Buck, and the goons under the main villain Alameda Slim are pretty funny as well. But almost all of the other jokes just fall flat. And they try to add a mushy part here, with Maggie not "belonging" to the herd that is just dull. There are a few laughs to be had here, with the interesting cast of voices.

Still, the most influential person in Hollywood is you. HOME ON THE RANGE is fun, moral, uplifting family entertainment, but it will not make the pantheon of great Disney movies. If I remembered "Home on the Range" correctly, the characters were funny but crazy has hell.

A MERRY CHRISTMAS WISH

The delivery tracking showed the item as signed for by me and a photograph of it on a doorstep. I had not signed for the item and the photograph of the item was not of my doorstep. It took me over two hours to find the item which had been left on a neighbours doorstep in pouring rain. Used to be a fan of this company and used them regularly but obviously they don’t value me as a customer.

This is certainly not the service we aim to provide for our customers. We can assure you that this feedback is reviewed by The Range to see how we may improve the customer experience. I love it when Disney doesn't take itself too seriously; no one tried to reach for the stars or make this into a classic. HOME ON THE RANGE is just a cute little story about some not-so-contented cows who save the day. It modestly aspires to be nothing more than a lot of fun, and it does that job very well.

"Home on the Range" is certainly lively, and is often times quite humorous, but it suffers from a lack of creativity given the potential of the premise. For a cartoon about cows hunting down cattle rustlers, everything seems so formulaic. There are very few surprises and the characters seem to just go through the motions of the typical Disney animated fare. Having only just moved to her new home, Maggie the cow is shocked to learn that it is to be shut down and auctioned off – more than likely meaning the chop for all the animals.

Its very funny, especially if you get all in jokes and spoofs that it contains. The music is very good, but won't win any awards. The voice acting isn't stand out, but its nice to have Roseanne actually be funny again. Definitely worth seeing if you have kids since both you and they will laugh and have a good time. My only regret about the film is that twenty minutes after its done you're ready for another movie.

During recent historical research at the National Air and Space Museum Archives, I located a document as part of the Krafft Ehricke Papers titled “Basic Analysis of Global Weapon Systems & Space Weapon Systems” from 1957. At that time, ICBMs were still under development and satellites had not yet flown. There were questions on how to achieve the best deterrence to protect the United States.

Everything in this film just seems random and meaningless because nothing is explained and everything just sort of works out. Gene Autry and Roy Rogers always had time to relax next to a campfire and sing a tune, but "Home on the Range" jumps with the energy of a cartoon short subject. Sadly though this genre is no longer one that can be judged based on your Shrek's, Toy Story's and so on but now needs to be approached with caution given how many weak copies there now are out there.

"Home on the Range" reminds me a lot of "Rock-A-Doodle", a 1991 animated film from Don Bluth, and not one of his more popular efforts. Both are lacklustre animated films with anthropomorphic animals, ones which are basically for the kids, and I've personally found to be very unmemorable. Soon, the sheriff appears on his karate chopping horse, Buck, voiced by Cuba Gooding, Jr. The sheriff tells Pearl that they’re foreclosing her ranch unless she comes up with $750. The three cows, Maggie, Grace, and Mrs. Caloway, go off to town to save the ranch, intending to win some prize money at the county fair. On the way to the fair, they see a poster offering a $750 reward for the capture of Alameda Slim, the cattle rustler.

I am sorry to hear that your order arrived damaged. We can understand the disappointment and frustration this may have caused as this isn't the service we aim to provide for our customers. Reminiscent more of Warner’s Looney Tunes than Disney, the movie is a lightweight rollicking diversion. Research shows a connection between kids' healthy self-esteem and positive portrayals in media.

Speaking of the dialogue, there are one or two bits with Slim mostly where you raise a laugh, but in general, despite Roseanne Barr's evidently enthusiastic voice over, Home On the Range is rather devoid of humour. This movie has lots of irritating moments, but the worst of all is a scene in a bar - one of the most ridiculous scenes in a movie! The "humor" of this movie isn't the classic humor which is really funny.

A yodeling outlaw riding a bison stealing cattle right from under ranchers who don't have enough sense to take care of them. There is not one cow hand, cowboy, or cow dog in sight. Maybe this is a reason why the cows follow this outlaw like sheep, they never heard howling before nor are they ever sang to like one of the cows was by the old lady of pleasant valley. HOME ON THE RANGE is a warm-hearted family movie with positive moral values. The humor is not as witty as it could be, and the plot is a bit predictable, but there are some rollicking fun moments. The movie also contains a few light sexual comments between the bulls and the cows, but these will pass over the heads of most children.

I really took a chance when I bought the DVD of "Home On The Range" because I had not seen it. It is not my normal practice to buy something that I am totally unfamiliar with. Hans Dolfing is an independent computer scientist with a passion for spaceflight, software, and history. “Take off and nuke the site from orbit (it’s the only way to be sure…)”, Dwayne A. The EQS SUV is one of the first electric utility vehicles to offer three rows of seating, off-road ability, and more than 300 miles of range. Electric vehicle range suffers in cold-weather driving. But a new report from the battery analysis firm Recurrent points out just how much that real-world winter EV range varies by model. Some Kia Niro EV models have been recalled for an issue that could allow coolant into the power control unit.

Visual gags include three hens simultaneously laying eggs upon being introduced to Maggie, and the peg-legged Lucky Jack (Charles Haid, TV's "Hill Street Blues"), the aforementioned rabbit who lost his foot for the luck it brought. Bounty hunter Rico appears to have been named just for the delight the filmmakers got from using an immortal Edward G. Robinson line from "Little Caesar." Grace gets to quote Mae West. The standoff between Maggie and Slim, with Slim framed in the landscape beneath Maggie's ponderous udders, is a comical take on classic spaghetti Westerns. Jennifer Tilly is equally right for the naive, off-key peacemaker Grace.

It's not funny, some of the slapstick violence is drawn overly brutally, and there's very little values or learning potential. We watch a lot of mediocre animated movies and direct-to-video sequels, but my daughter always finds much to like. The voice cast has names but it feels more like actors being "the voice of" rather than playing characters. As a result they tend to just play on their voice rather than develop characters. Dench takes her money and I doubt very much if this film will ever be mentioned when discussing her body of work, and nor should it be. Tilly at least plays up her part and has quite a "fun" voice.
